Rescheduled: PhD course on Public Economics Helsinki

The PhD-course in Public Economics and the meeting of TAPES (Trans-Atlantic Public Economics Seminar) are both rescheduled to a later date due to the Corona outbreak. A new date will be announced at a later stage.

Information about the course (this might change due to the rescheduling):

The course will start with two keynote lectures by Jonathan Gruber and Hillary Hoynes. Thereafter follows lectures on different topics in public economics including optimal taxation, empirical tax analysis and behavioural public economics. In addition, students are invited to give flash talks, presenting ongoing work. Conditional on presenting and supervisor’s approval, the course will give credits.

The organizers have limited funds to cover the travel costs from students residing outside of Helsinki and in other Nordic countries.
